Stockist - Miami Design District

Summary

The Stockist supports the store management team with shipping and receiving merchandise, stockroom organization, inventory control, and housekeeping activities. This role participates in replenishment and prepares the store for inventory while ensuring proper packaging and accurate record keeping. The Stockist works closely with store staff and Corporate on repairs and claims.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive transfers and client merchandise
• Prepare merchandise for shipping with proper packaging and wrapping
• Monitor UPS log and track packages and arrange hand deliveries
• Report damaged merchandise to management and process incoming repairs
• Arrange merchandise in the stock area to company standards and ensure proper ticketing
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with the Store Manager
• Create IAF and prepare store for inventory
• Order supplies and support facilities and fixture maintenance
• Clean sales floor and stock area and follow Health and Safety guidelines

Requirements

• Strong drive for results and goal oriented
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use POS system and inventory management functions
• Stock control experience and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift boxes and weights up to 25lbs plus
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with shipment tracking and claims processing
