Summary
The Stockist supports store leadership with shipping and receiving, stockroom organization, inventory control, and housekeeping to maintain store standards and enable excellent customer service. This role partners with the team on replenishment, prepares merchandise for allocation and shipping, and assists with repair processing and client communications.
Responsibilities
- Ship and receive transfers and client merchandise.
- Prepare merchandise for shipping with accurate packaging and wrapping.
- Supervise UPS log, track packages and arrange hand deliveries.
- Report damaged merchandise and process incoming repairs with claim paperwork.
- Arrange and maintain merchandise in the stock area to top store standards.
- Ensure merchandise is accurately ticketed and censored per policy.
- Perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies and prepare the store for inventory.
- Order supplies and support facilities, fixtures, operations and store maintenance.
- Clean sales floor and stock area and follow health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years professional retail or customer experience; luxury experience preferred.
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- Stock control and selling experience with POS and inventory functions.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills, drive for results and excellent interpersonal communication.
- Ability to work in a team environment and flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 25lbs.
- Foreign language skill is a plus.
