The Selling Supervisor is a retail leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, demonstrating advanced product knowledge, supporting store operations, and acting as a link between management and sales associates to drive sales and repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Support store manager with management and coordination of daily store operations
- Perform opening and closing duties and handle merchandise check in
- Prepare and make deposits as needed
- Supervise sales transactions and ensure adherence to cash protection procedures
- Coach and motivate sales staff to meet objectives and exceed sales goals
- Promote and sell products to ensure customer satisfaction
- Merchandise the sales floor and maintain presentation standards
- Assist store manager with operational excellence and team performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years luxury retail experience in a similar or supervisory role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and set high performance standards
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast paced environment
- Experience operating personal computers, POS systems, and MS Office
- Ability to work independently with discretion and under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and coach team members
