Summary

The Visual Merchandiser creates and maintains eye catching fashion displays and aesthetic presentations aligned with current trends and store directives. This role partners with department managers to implement visual standards, supports signage and promotional installations, and contributes to in store lighting and trim presentations. The schedule is variable based on store needs and promotional events.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and trends
• Partner with department managers to uphold and teach visual standards
• Support merchandising, signing, and implementation of directional displays
• Install and remove trim and window presentations for promotional events
• Support execution of the in store lighting program
• Customize visual presentations appropriate to the store
• Use tools and equipment to assemble visual props and displays

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising and styling with fashion trend knowledge
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Basic construction skills for building and assembly of props preferred
• Ability to use ladders, drills, box knives, and other tools
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs
