Job Description

The Role

As a trusted Diversity and Inclusion leader and advisor, you’ll collaborate with leaders and People Communities across FARFETCH Group to drive systemic change and create an inclusive and accessible business for our people, customers, and curators. You’ll inspire change through thought leadership, holding our business to account, and leading our Diversity and Inclusion strategy to reach our Positively Inclusive vision and 2030 goals.

What You’ll Do

  • You will work closely with senior leadership to evolve and execute an effective diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategy and roadmap, ensuring we stay focused on our 2030 Positively Inclusive goals
  • You will identify actions to hold leaders and D&I initiative owners to account for D&I, cultivating a culture of inclusion and belonging
  • You will provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to advise and challenge D&I leads/initiative owners and bring new ideas to drive change
  • You will collaborate with the People leadership team to embed diversity and inclusion throughout the people lifecycle and all people experiences, ranging from hiring and policy design, to how we develop and retain our talent
  • You will collaborate with Commercial, Customer, Tech, and Product teams to advise on how to create an accessible business for our curators and customers
  • You will guide our People Community Chairs to amplify the voices of our people and elevate their plans, ensuring they address opportunities and concerns identified across all areas of the business and remain focused
  • You will partner with the People Analytics team to use data insights to monitor success and areas of opportunity within the Positively Inclusive plan
  • You will partner with Ethics & Compliance to uphold conduct standards and sit on the Anti-Harassment Committee
  • You will ensure the People Conflicts Policy and Code of Conduct are understood and translated, including training and education of the People Team, Anti-Harassment Committee Members, and relevant business stakeholders
  • You will work closely with our Communications team to align on internal and external communications, inspiring our audiences to champion D&I and create a change
  • You will nurture external relationships with D&I Partners, ensuring our positive employer brand is maintained

Who You Are

  • You have excellent Diversity & Inclusion knowledge, expertise, and best practice thinking for global organizations
  • You have at least 8+ years of working in a Diversity & Inclusion position
  • You have experience working in a D&I role for a growing organization
  • You can understand and translate our priorities into a Diversity & Inclusion agenda and strategy
  • You have solid analytical capabilities and a data-centric approach to providing strategic insight to leaders and supporting recommendations
  • You have an understanding of regional cultural sensitivities, local D&I needs, and nuances
  • You will develop professional relationships quickly, working as a strategic partner to the business, building trust with senior leaders throughout
  • You are a communicator at all levels, with an ability to influence team members through supportive discussions and the provision of best practice advice
  • You excel when organized with planning, prioritization, and business-wide project management skills, guided by determination and tenacity
  • You seek out new Diversity & Inclusion trends and external insights, maintaining knowledge and depth of legal understanding, to ensure the business remains competitive, fit for the future, and legally compliant
