Brobston Group was founded by William Brobston in 2017 and is based in New York City.

A note from William
I grew up in luxury retail – literally. As a kid I ran around Neiman Marcus stores while under construction, as my dad managed the development of a new business and new team. He spent his 40 year career with Neiman Marcus Group obsessed with developing outstanding client-centric teams.
After an early career in restaurant management, I followed dad into the fashion industry by joining Neiman Marcus in Boston. As a Sales Associate in the Ladies Shoe Salon, I learned to compete with tenured associates, build a new clientele, and cross-sell into the rest of the store.
In 2006, I moved to New York and was fortunate to join Brunello Cucinelli just as they launched US retail. I was hired there by a former 25-year Bergdorf Goodman veteran who taught me how to go from a good seller to a great seller, and quickly built a world-class clientele. The brand was growing rapidly and I grew with it – leading their flagship locations, opening many of their early US doors, and supporting the growth of a budding retail division.
With these experiences as my foundation, I was fortunate to grow teams with several other leading fashion and jewelry brands – always with an obsession for client experience and team development. I learned early that successful luxury businesses must be built with outstanding talent. At Brobston Group we work with our brand partners to help them do just that.
