Position

San Dimas Luggage Company, Inc. is searching for a Junior Human Resources Generalist supporting the second shift at the Client Care Services Center in Piscataway, NJ or Ontario. CA. The Human Resources Generalist will support core HR functions of recruitment, talent and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, health and safety in compliance with federal/state laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate has had a minimum of 3 years serving in an HR Generalist Capacity.

This is a second shift role and will support the team from 1:30 pm – 10 pm, Monday – Friday, with Saturdays as needed, and reports into the Sr. HR Manager.

This position is responsible for enhancing the employee experience by communicating proactively. Working collaboratively with the on-site leadership team, this role drives new initiatives and sustains ongoing actions related to human resources while providing customer service to organization employees and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.

Profile

We are eager to speak to individuals with a bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, and with previous HR generalist experience. An HR certification (PHR , SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) would be a plus. With a proven track record in maintaining a culture that prioritizes safety and quality through communication, action, and accountability, you will continuously innovate and drive the employee experience and strategy for the Client Care Services Center.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem solving and communication skills in addition to the ability to confidently communicate with onsite leadership. Working closely with a wide range of business partners the ability to influence people is key to this role, along with a natural skill to motivate and engage people.
