Peserico embodies the passion for high couture and great manufacturing tradition in the region of Veneto. The company was created in 1962 by Maria Peserico in Cornedo Vicentino, in the province of Vicenza, as a small workshop specializing in pants for women, and in less than a decade, it became a larger company with 50 employees.

In 1975, Maria’s husband, Giuseppe Peruffo became the Manager and added to the work done for third parties, the brand name collection of pants and skirts. The production was rooted in the local tradition, but in the 80s the distribution started expanding abroad. The constant growth and the international success lead Peserico to expand its creative universe: in the 90s the collections grew to cover the total look, and were produced exclusively in Italy.

The brand is lead today by the second generation of the same family: Riccardo Peruffo is the CEO and the Creative Director, together with his wife Paola Gonella.

The Peserico brand is distributed to 1110 stores all over the world and in more than 20 brand stores. Cappellini is also part of the company, the young, sporty and contemporary line of women’s wear.

Job Description

Position Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for contributing to the store sales by providing Peserico’s experience level of customer service to all clients, building rapport with clients, supporting the management team and representing Peserico in all its aspects consistently.

Essential Duties:

Sales & Client Service

  • To know and achieve your, and the store’s daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales plan
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of different sales techniques, such as cross selling, and adding on in order to drive your sales and KPIs
  • Demonstrate selling skills to actively develop new clients and further develop existing client relationships
  • Demonstrate behaviors that reflect the company principles and culture
  • Manage individual client database to standard and generates sales utilizing the client book through appointments and daily correspondence with clients
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge; keeps updated in all brands bio and aesthetic, and fashion trends
  • Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with clients, peers and management team
  • Demonstrate proper etiquette when communicating with internal and external clients (i.e. in-person, phone, e-mail, and written communication), returns, repairs and alterations

Back of House

  • Maintain store, employee area, stockroom and bathroom to Company standards
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of stores physical inventories and actively participates in resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Actively contribute and support in non-selling activities and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Replenish stock and maintain high standards of merchandise and product presentation
  • Maintain your designated ‘area of responsibility’
