Job Description

We are a well-established, confidential luxury brand, known globally for our exquisite designs and exceptional craftsmanship. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Retail to lead and enhance our global retail operations. The Vp Retail will directly oversee the North American Stores, plus a support team including operations, buying, and vidual merchandising, ensuring a coordinated approach to driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement retail strategies in alignment with the brand’s vision, aiming for excellence and consistency across all global retail touch points.
  • Oversee and manage the operational and financial performance of all retail stores, ensuring profitability and sales growth.
  • Directly supervise Retail Operations, Retail Buyer, Outlets Manager, Retail Coordinator, and Visual Merchandising Director, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with global store managers, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with direct reports and cross-functional teams such as Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Human Resources to optimize retail operations.
  • Lead the expansion of retail footprint in both existing and new markets.
  • Drive and monitor the customer experience in stores, ensuring a high standard of service that enhances brand loyalty and customer retention.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand current trends, customer behaviors, and competitor strategies.
  • Manage P&L and control costs while driving revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of multi-brand retail management experience, preferably in the luxury sector. Experience with European brands is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading retail operations and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of luxury retail landscapes, consumer trends, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in retail-related technology and software.
  • Ability to travel as required.
