Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our high-end fashion retail store in East Hampton. As we prepare to transition to a larger space, this is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to guide a dedicated team of 4 in providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of our prestigious brand. This year-round position offers the chance to be at the forefront of fashion retail in one of the most vibrant shopping destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of 4 to achieve and exceed sales targets and operational goals.
  • Create a supportive and positive work environment, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, provide ongoing training and development, and manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal staffing levels at all times.

Sales & Customer Experience:

  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring every visitor receives a personalized and memorable shopping experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales, including in-store events, promotions, and community outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, gathering feedback to continuously improve the in-store experience.

Operations & Visual Merchandising:

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create captivating displays that align with the brand’s aesthetic and drive sales.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate record-keeping, and minimal shrinkage.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Manage the store budget, including labor costs, supplies, and other expenses, to maximize profitability.

Brand Representation:

  • Act as an ambassador for the brand, upholding its values and ensuring it is represented at the highest standard.
  • Ensure that the team is well-informed about the brand’s history, vision, and product offerings, providing exceptional product knowledge to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar managerial role in high-end fashion retail.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A keen eye for visual merchandising and an understanding of the luxury market.
  • Flexible to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
