Job Description

We are a dynamic and emerging luxury men’s active-wear brand based in the heart of New York City. Launched in 2018, our brand has quickly established itself in the active-wear market through innovative designs and a unique approach to retail. Selling through pop-up events, a robust e-commerce platform, and selective wholesale channels, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality, fashionable active-wear that meets the modern man’s needs. As we continue to grow and expand our footprint in the active-wear industry, we are looking for an Executive Consultant with a proven track record at the executive level across various critical business functions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in wholesale, merchandising, direct-to-consumer (Dtc) strategies, production, finance, and overall brand strategy to help guide our brand to new heights.

Role Summary: The Executive Consultant will serve as a strategic advisor to our leadership team, providing insights and recommendations that will shape the future direction of our brand. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the active-wear market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide high-level strategic guidance on brand positioning, growth opportunities, and market expansion.
  • Wholesale Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to expand our presence in the wholesale market, identifying new partners and strengthening existing relationships.
  • Merchandising and Dtc: Optimize our merchandising strategy and direct-to-consumer channel to enhance brand visibility, customer engagement, and sales performance.
  • Production Oversight: Advise on production strategies to ensure product quality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, aligning with our brand values and customer expectations.
  • Financial Planning: Offer expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting to support the brand’s financial health and long-term viability.
  • Brand Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to refine and execute the brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of executive-level experience in the mens luxury and active-wear industry, with a focus on wholesale, merchandising, Dtc, production, and finance.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategies that have driven significant business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities, with experience advising and guiding senior leadership teams.
  • Deep understanding of the active-wear market, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work on a consultancy basis, with a willingness to engage deeply with our team in New York City.
