Job Description

Summary

As the Associate Manager, you will support the General Manager in strategic planning and execution to ensure a profitable business. You will be a key decision maker in the absence of the General Manager and will be responsible for operational excellence, optimizing talent, and embracing new ways of selling while upholding brand integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in business trend analysis and strategic planning.
  • Educate the team on sales and profit performance tools.
  • Create a consistent customer experience aligned with brand expectations.
  • Lead client development strategy and community outreach.
  • Execute talent strategy and drive recruitment activities.
  • Engage in talent development, coaching, and providing learning opportunities.
  • Manage processes and execution to maintain productivity standards.
  • Champion new technology to support innovative selling techniques.
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and business opportunities.
  • Ensure sales floor and store standards exceed expectations.

Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Retail Management experience in a high-volume or high-profile environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to maneuver around sales floor and stock areas.
  • Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.
  • Proven track record of success in building positive relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and time management skills.
