Peserico embodies the passion for high couture and great manufacturing tradition in the region of Veneto. The company was created in 1962 by Maria Peserico in Cornedo Vicentino, in the province of Vicenza, as a small workshop specializing in pants for women, and in less than a decade, it became a larger company with 50 employees.

In 1975, Maria’s husband, Giuseppe Peruffo became the Manager and added to the work done for third parties, the brand name collection of pants and skirts. The production was rooted in the local tradition, but in the 80s the distribution started expanding abroad. The constant growth and the international success lead Peserico to expand its creative universe: in the 90s the collections grew to cover the total look, and were produced exclusively in Italy.

The brand is lead today by the second generation of the same family: Riccardo Peruffo is the CEO and the Creative Director, together with his wife Paola Gonella.

The Peserico brand is distributed to 1110 stores all over the world and in more than 20 brand stores. Cappellini is also part of the company, the young, sporty and contemporary line of women’s wear.

Job Description

As a Sales Associate at Peserico, you will be the embodiment of our brand's values, providing unparalleled customer service and a personalized shopping experience that reflects the luxury and quality of our products. You will play a critical role in achieving our store's sales targets and maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, engaging with them to understand their needs, and offering guidance and advice on our products.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Peserico collections, along with a keen understanding of fashion trends and styling techniques.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets by applying effective sales techniques, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling.
  • Maintain the presentation of the sales floor, ensuring that it reflects the luxury and quality of the Peserico brand.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit payments and following all store policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business and loyalty to the brand.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving stock, conducting stock takes, and ensuring accurate inventory records.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in luxury retail sales is preferred, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and work effectively in a team.
  • A passion for fashion and a deep understanding of the luxury market, with an ability to engage customers in the Peserico brand story.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, holidays, and special events.
