Summary

The Coordinator of Men’s Design will play a crucial role in the Men’s Design team, ensuring that the design vision is realized and providing essential organization to the department.

Responsibilities

• Manage content on current line plans.
• Process repairs through the shop and communicate with sales associates to ensure client satisfaction.
• Anticipate needs of department-create processes that cultivate organization and efficiency.
• Manage PLM line sheet updates.
• Create work orders in Oracle for products being produced in the shop and perform necessary inter-departmental transfers.
• Responsible for organizing and cataloguing all design concepts, inspiration, materials, sketches, and product images for Men’s Design Department.
• Partner with Shop, Product Development/Product Engineering to achieve market deadlines.
• Assist in preparing agendas and all materials for Design meetings with Yurman’s (EY).
• Assist in general administrative tasks for the department (to include travel plans and expense reports).

Requirements

• Technically proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Team oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Initiative
  – self-directed, independent judgment and decision-making ability.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design with a minimum of one year of relevant experience in design and/or product.
