Job Description

Summary

The West Coast Retail Operations Manager will support and guide the direction of the retail function, partnering with Store Managers and other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations within Company policies and guidelines. This role involves strategic thinking, project implementation, and maintaining the highest levels of store environment to deliver the ideal client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and review policies and procedures for store teams.
  • Develop and maintain the Retail Operations Manual.
  • Schedule and review audits for policy and procedure compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Analyze store operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Liaise with external entities for compliance with permits and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures.
  • Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers for store and office maintenance.
  • Support the after sales process and manage uniform orders.
  • Maintain back of house standards for optimal client experience.
  • Co-lead the annual inventory process and support inventory movement.
  • Streamline ordering of supplies and manage courier and shipping accounts.
  • Project manage store openings or closures.
  • Ensure store teams are trained on retail operations aspects.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate Alexander McQueen behaviours.
  • Experience in retail operations.
  • Effective communicator across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexible with travel and occasional weekend work.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker with sound analytical skills.
