Job Description

Summary

The Client Development Manager (CDM), Beauty, is responsible for driving sales by enhancing the selling and clienteling skills of Beauty Advisors, fostering a high-performance team, and providing consistent coaching for optimal sales results. The role includes onboarding, training, ongoing education, and performance management of the selling team, with a focus on building sustainable client relationships and leveraging technology for business development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the selling and clienteling skills of Beauty Advisors to drive sales and build client relationships.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing education for the selling team.
  • Manage performance and develop a succession plan for the team.
  • Work closely with Business Managers and Beauty Advisors to maximize client appointments and sales goals.
  • Use technology and data to drive business growth and client engagement.
  • Facilitate intersell trainings and liaise with brands for educational opportunities.
  • Recruit top talent and foster an inclusive team culture.
  • Support day-to-day business operations on the selling floor.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience with comparable volume or a proven track record in managing a selling workforce.
  • Experience in the Beauty industry preferred but not required.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to use social media platforms and clienteling tools effectively.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change.
