Job Description

Summary

The ESG Analyst will contribute significantly to the company’s commitment to ESG and related reporting. This role involves reporting to the Director of Energy and Sustainability, coordinating with peers on sustainability and social impact programs, and adapting to new ESG reporting and disclosure requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in Sustainability, ESG reporting, and TCFD, with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and validate data for regulatory reporting and voluntary frameworks.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as an internal subject matter expert on ESG data points and target setting.
  • Engage in continuous learning about sustainability targets and goals.
  • Develop strategies to improve sustainability information disclosure and reporting.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and industry requirements related to sustainability reporting.
  • Handle ad hoc responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 years of related work experience in environmental or sustainable development, with an emphasis on reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of supply chains and experience in managing and reporting on energy, GHG emissions, and renewable energy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Awareness or interest in domestic and international regulatory landscapes in the environmental space.
