Job Description

Summary

The Operations Manager will lead inventory management responsibilities within the store environment. This role involves creating, maintaining, and assessing opportunities for continuous improvements to enhance store operations and support revenue growth, profitability, and brand objectives. The Operations Manager will work closely with the store team and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, oversee, and reconcile annual physical inventories.
  • Manage returns from receipt to resolution, partnering with Regional Operations Manager and department store operations teams when necessary.
  • Review daily sales media for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct weekly audits of unreceived cartons and investigate NOH (Negative On-Hand) Report.
  • Audit store shipments, verify LP best practices, and file necessary documents.
  • Perform Cycle Counts in accordance with company guidelines and adjust stock balances.
  • Manage inventory movement requests, such as consolidations or RTVs, in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely return and closure of store consignments.
  • Maintain and manage Client Owned Goods (COG) in accordance with company policy.
  • Communicate with team regarding receipted shipments like core replenishment styles.
  • Support the store in reaching overall sales targets and contribute to morning briefing meetings.
  • Provide daily oversight and coaching to operations associate(s).
  • Ensure overall store compliance with operating guidelines.
  • Open/close store as required by business needs.
  • Maintain an organized and functional back-of-house (BOH).
  • Manage AfterSales, facilities, and overall store maintenance in partnership with management and vendors.
  • Oversee uniforms, visual merchandise floor moves, and support key events as required.
  • Provide sales/floor support as needed by the business.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate key behaviors: Empowerment, Teamwork, Respect, and Kindness.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing stock and administrative tasks, preferably within apparel, footwear, or jewelry.
  • Effective communication skills within store team, network, vendors/3rd parties, and clients.
  • Successful managerial experience of a team.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, especially Excel.
  • Comfortable with computer technology, including PC and iOS devices.
  • Capable of prioritizing and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 35lbs+ frequently.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
