Summary

As the Associate Manager FOA, you will support the General Manager in strategic planning and execution to ensure a profitable business. You will be a key decision maker in the absence of the General Manager and will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, optimizing talent, and embracing new ways of selling while upholding brand integrity.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in business trend analysis and strategic planning for the store location.
• Educate the team on sales and profit performance tools and resources.
• Create a consistent customer experience aligned with RL brand expectations and support the store vision.
• Lead community outreach and client development strategy for the store.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to build and develop a team focused on customer service.
• Drive networking and recruitment activities in the store market.
• Engage in talent development, providing coaching, feedback, and learning opportunities.
• Manage processes and store execution to maintain productivity standards and achieve store shrink goals.
• Champion new technology to support innovative selling techniques and shopping experiences.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback on high profit potential and business trends to the General Manager & District Director.
• Ensure sales floor and store standards exceed expectations at all times.
• Create an inclusive environment aligned with Ralph Lauren Company values.

Requirements

• College Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Retail Management experience in a high-volume or high-profile specialty environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, and office, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts.
• Proven track record of success in building positive relationships with customers, management, and co-workers.
• Strong business acumen with planning and time management skills.
