Summary

As a Project Manager, you will manage the Design and Construction of store projects in the Americas. The role involves coordination with corporate and regional teams, direct control of Procurement, Administrative, and Logistic aspects, and working closely with the VP. The Project Manager will also be responsible for hiring and managing external consultants, contractors, and direct vendors, overseeing costs, scheduling, and quality of projects from planning to construction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a store opening to the Regional retail team on time and on budget.
• Supervise and coordinate all design and construction activities for new or renovated stores.
• Visit construction sites and prepare reports to ensure quality and follow-up on issues.
• Deliver project presentations and updates to senior executives.
• Manage all Direct Vendors orders and collect as-built drawings.
• Prepare feasibility studies, evaluate locations, estimate budgets and timings.
• Collaborate with finance and legal departments to finalize budgets and contracts.
• Organize general contractors and millwork contractors bidding and coordinate works assignment.
• Coordinate with designers for location layout and internal reviews.
• Prepare Capex and Cost Report and update it regularly.
• Organize bidding and award of all consultants and supervise their activities.
• Review consultants and contractors drawings for consistency with projects and concept.
• Collaborate and coordinate with Corporate Retail Departments such as IT, Asset Protection, Legal, Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Stores.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to manage design and construction of retail store projects.
• Experience with procurement, administrative, and logistic aspects of store planning.
• Skilled in hiring and managing external consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Proficient in cost management, scheduling, and ensuring project quality.
• Strong decision-making skills for feasibility studies, budgeting, and contracting.
• Agility in coordinating with designers and corporate teams for project development.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to and collaborating with senior executives.
