Summary
We are seeking an Executive Brand Development Consultant to play a pivotal role in launching a new men’s luxury streetwear brand. This individual will collaborate closely with the brand founder to sculpt the brand’s identity from the ground up. Your expertise will guide the development of the target market, client segmentation, pricing strategies, product categories, and marketing channels. This role is critical in setting the direction for the brand and establishing a solid foundation for its future growth.
Duration
Initial 6-month contract with the expectation of extension based on momentum and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy Development: Work with the founder to define and articulate the brand’s unique value proposition, ensuring it resonates with the targeted luxury market.
- Market and Client Segmentation: Identify and analyze potential markets and customer segments to strategically position the brand for success.
- Product and Category Innovation: Oversee the development of product categories, aligning them with market demands and brand ethos.
- Pricing Strategy: Establish pricing structures that reflect the brand’s luxury positioning while ensuring market competitiveness.
- Marketing and Sales Channels: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies utilizing the most effective channels to reach and engage the target audience.
- Team Building and Leadership: Influence the hiring process of key positions, including a creative director/designer, to build a talented and cohesive team.
- Operational Excellence: Work alongside the founder to streamline operations, ensuring the brand’s vision is executed efficiently and effectively.
- Market Analysis and Adaptation: Continuously analyze market trends and adapt brand strategies to maintain relevance and competitive edge.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with investors, partners, and other key stakeholders to align efforts and foster collaborative relationships.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in men’s luxury fashion, with a proven track record of successful brand development and deep merchandising expertise.
