Job Description

Summary

CELINE, a French Leather-Goods and Couture House, is seeking a HR Generalist to support the development and delivery of People priorities in North America. The role focuses on Development & Retention, Employee Relations, and Reporting & Analysis, aiming to cultivate a high-performance culture and people-focused employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate key HR programs and processes including on-boarding, performance management, and compensation.
  • Resolve employee relations issues and partner with Sr. HRBP and legal counsel as needed.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee groups, manage special projects, and drive action planning.
  • Collaborate with specialized HR functions to maximize HR initiatives’ impact.
  • Manage performance improvement plans and terminations in partnership with Sr. HR Business Partner.
  • Support administrative tasks to ensure HR processes remain current.
  • Explain company policies and procedures to employees.
  • Support talent assessment, action planning, and internal talent development.
  • Facilitate succession planning and internal mobility.
  • Support workforce retention and engagement programs.
  • Coordinate recognition programs and participate in internal groups and events.
  • Analyze employee data to measure talent strategies’ effectiveness.
  • Assist with end-of-year and mid-year review initiatives.
  • Track and analyze turnover data.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of related experience in Human Resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Retail experience preferred, luxury/fashion business experience a plus.
  • Experience with HR processes, systems, and tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with HRIS Systems.
  • Effective communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
