Summary

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Finance Team, focusing on sourcing and procurement for store constructions and renovations. The role involves orchestrating the RFI, RFQ, RFP process, negotiating with suppliers, and leveraging market intelligence to develop category strategies.

Responsibilities

• Stay informed about business environment changes including geopolitics, economics, social factors, and regulations.
• Identify trends, set cost benchmarks, and forecast cost projections and vendor spend.
• Execute RFI, RFQ for assigned projects.
• Provide data for reporting on budget variance and performance to stakeholders.
• Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate their performance.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for procurement operations.
• Support Supplier Sustainability and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and benchmark against competitors.
• Collaborate with the Store Planning Team to forecast demand accurately.
• Lead procurement execution, supplier evaluations, negotiation, selection, and contract processing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Track and report on cost avoidance and P&L savings.

Requirements

• Background in retail luxury/hospitality with a focus on procurement.
• Competencies in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or related field.
• Skills in Cost Estimation, Construction operations, Owner Representation, and Procurement.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings, and project schedules.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, negotiation strategies, and contract management.
• Outstanding negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to challenge the status quo and generate new ideas.
• Excellent analytical skills and data interpretation.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.
