Summary

The Operations Associate at Christian Dior Couture is responsible for maintaining the store’s inventory and stock areas, minimizing stock loss, and ensuring efficient processing of shipping and receiving functions. This role is crucial in safeguarding company assets and supporting the overall maintenance and organization of the store.

Responsibilities

• Process shipping and receiving functions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain orderly and neat stock and receiving areas.
• Handle merchandise appropriately, ensuring it is properly ticketed and sensored.
• Support compliance with company policies and standards.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Complete price changes and assist customers with packing or wrapping merchandise when necessary.
• Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control departments.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Attend store meetings and training seminars as required.

Requirements

• Experience in retail stock/shipping/receiving.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
• Proficiency in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
• Ability to manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.
• Availability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
