Job Description

Summary

As a Store Manager at Oliver Peoples, you will be the on-the-floor leader, not only performing all store functions but also leading the store to success. You will develop a team that consistently delivers the Luxury Retail Signature Experience to exceed expectations in all areas of business operations, including financial results, customer and associate satisfaction, merchandise presentation, public relations/events, and asset protection.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure delivery of the Luxury Retail Signature Experience.
  • Represent the Luxury Retail point-of-view when communicating with the media.
  • Direct and monitor all sales and operational activities to meet sales objectives.
  • Recruit and hire superior talent with experience in a luxury service environment.
  • Create and maintain bench strength with a clearly defined succession plan.
  • Coach associates by providing clear, motivating, and constructive performance feedback.
  • Accurately staff the store to deliver gracious customer service and meet sales goals.
  • Create an environment that encourages the development of managers and associates.
  • Recognize associates for their performance and service.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and operations.
  • Communicate product feedback and trends to the Brand Team.
  • Analyze key financial data and identify business trends/opportunities.
  • Exemplify Luxottica Retail vision, mission, and values; lead by example.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Sales experience with strong financial acumen.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Polished appearance and public communication skills.
  • Organization and time management abilities.
  • Team building and management proficiencies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with critical thinking.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical with computer proficiency.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Preferred: 3+ years management experience in the luxury service industry.
