Summary

The Business Development Leader RH Contract is tasked with developing and managing strategic relationships with key commercial design firms and dealers, driving sales growth, and ensuring project success from specification to procurement. The role requires a proactive approach to business development within the B2B contract furniture space, leveraging industry insights and a strong network of relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a targeted regional sales growth plan.
• Qualify leads and pursue new business opportunities within strategic customer ecosystems.
• Influence and own the full project life-cycle for projects tied to strategic customers.
• Partner with Project, Sourcing, and Logistics Leaders for project management.
• Travel to strategic customers and attend key industry events.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and log activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Project Leaders to drive growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in large FF&E projects within the B2B contract furniture space.
• Established relationships with key senior-level decision-makers.
• Expert understanding of at least two product categories in the FF&E space.
• Strong selling, negotiating, and presentation skills.
• Detail and solution-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Customer-focused with quick interpretation and addressing of customer needs.
• Proficiency in CRM/Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel at least 40% to meet strategic customers.
