Summary

As a Bloomingdale’s Asset Protection/Loss Prevention Detective, you will be responsible for protecting the assets and people of the Roosevelt Field location. You will receive comprehensive training and use innovative technology and analytics to perform your investigative duties with a high degree of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all customers while on the selling floor
  • Identify, observe and apprehend individuals for committing theft by shoplifting
  • Understand state laws and statutes related to shoplifting and apprehensions
  • Participate in store shortage reduction programs and partner with specific departments
  • Maintain building safety and security, including opening and closing the building when appropriate

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years related experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups
  • Adaptable and resourceful with a strong sense of independence and teamwork
  • Meet licensing requirements as required by state or local jurisdiction
  • Experience with CCTV systems operation and monitoring
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods and lift/move up to 30lbs

Summary

As a Commission Sales Associate at Beverly Center, you will play a key role in guiding and inspiring customers to make style a source of creative energy in their lives. You will establish and cultivate long-term client relationships both in-store and online, delivering the Bloomingdale’s customer experience through engaging conversations and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Create an in-store and online easy, seamless, and fun experience; building and cultivating customer relationships.
  • Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and being proficient with technology.
  • Participate in the merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
  • Actively circulate the sales floor, determine customer needs, and share the benefits of our Loyalty programs.
  • Support the shopping experience from start to finish, ensuring operational excellence by leveraging our fulfillment system, merchandise to sell standards, and maintaining floor and fitting room upkeep.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to satisfy customer needs.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department.
  • May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
