Job Description

CELINE is looking for a HR Generalist to join the HR team in North America. As the HR Generalist, and a part of the People department, your main missions will be to support the development and delivery of People priorities that cultivate a high-performance culture and people-focused employee experience. Key areas of focus include Development & Retention, Employee Relations, and Reporting & Analysis. This experience will enable you as a coach and to council managers at HQ and across the retail network. Reporting to the Sr. HR Business Partner, the HR Generalist will assist in the implementation and execution of programs that aim to attract, develop, and manage the organization’s talent pool, while continuously evaluating the effectiveness of the organization’s talent processes.

Summary

As an HR Generalist at CELINE, you will support the development and delivery of People priorities to cultivate a high-performance culture and enhance the employee experience. You will focus on Development & Retention, Employee Relations, and Reporting & Analysis, while serving as a coach and counselor to managers at HQ and across the retail network.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate implementation and execution of key HR programs and processes with client groups.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues and partner with Sr. HRBP, business leaders, and legal counsel as needed.
  • Act as initial point of contact for employee groups to guide requests and manage special projects.
  • Collaborate with specialized HR functions to maximize impact of HR initiatives.
  • Manage performance improvement plans and terminations in partnership with Sr. HR Business Partner and legal.
  • Support administrative tasks to ensure HR processes remain up to date.
  • Explain company policies and procedures to corporate and retail employees.
  • Support assessment and evaluation of talent, analyze needs, and assist with action planning.
  • Facilitate creation, maintenance, and reporting of succession plan data.
  • Support development and maintenance of internal programs focused on workforce retention and engagement.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare reports on employee data to measure effectiveness of talent strategies.
  • Track and analyze turnover data.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of related experience in Human Resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Retail experience preferred, luxury/fashion business experience a plus.
  • Experience joining data from multiple sources and familiarity with HR processes and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
