Job Description

Summary

The Area Sales Manager for Caribbean and Cruise Ship markets will focus on developing the wholesale business, increasing market share, and driving merchandising excellence. This role involves building strong relationships with retailers and key partners, and ensuring sell-out achievement to meet sell-in objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans to achieve sales targets and optimize brand distribution.
  • Analyze business performance and adjust sales and marketing actions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to drive sell-out.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and ensure smooth cash collection.
  • Implement co-op marketing plans and ensure consistent online brand presence.
  • Support customers in implementing merchandising plan-o-grams and maintain brand standards.
  • Consult on product assortments and manage inventory effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of wholesale or retail experience, preferably in the Caribbean and Cruise Ship luxury retail market.
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Language skills in English, Spanish, and French are preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with self-reliant and independent work habits.
  • Proficiency in data and market trends analysis, sales training, and MS Office.
