Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to join our team in Boston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail location, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the operations team.
  • Ensure all operational procedures are followed and optimized for efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance of store facilities and equipment.

Team Leadership:
  • Lead, train, and mentor the operations team to achieve performance goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate objectives, policies, and updates.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Customer Service:
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain customer service standards and procedures.

Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports to track performance metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency.

Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within retail or operations management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
