Job Description

Summary

The West Coast Retail Operations Manager will support and guide the direction of the retail function, partnering with Store Managers and other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations within company policies and guidelines. This role involves strategic thinking about business needs and implementing projects to maintain high standards and represent the brand image, ensuring an ideal client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and review policies and procedures for store teams.
  • Develop and maintain the Retail Operations Manual.
  • Schedule and review audits for policy and procedure compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Analyze store operations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Liaise with external entities for compliance with permits and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures.
  • Identify and manage contractors for store maintenance.
  • Review supplier services for cost reduction or service improvement.
  • Handle store emergencies and operational issues.
  • Support corporate departments with logistical or operational tasks.
  • Onboard and support the after-sales process.
  • Manage uniform orders and back of house standards.
  • Improve client experience in retail operations.
  • Co-lead the annual inventory process.
  • Support inventory movement processes.
  • Manage regional transfers and in-store performance of operational guidelines.
  • Streamline ordering of supplies and evaluate shipping suppliers.
  • Project manage new store openings or closures.
  • Ensure store teams are trained on retail operations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate Alexander McQueen behaviors.
  • Experience in retail operations.
  • Effective communication across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Flexibility for travel and occasional weekend work.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and consideration of business impact.
  • Highly motivated with sound analytical and organizational skills.
