Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Marketing and PR to lead our brand’s marketing, public relations, social media, digital marketing, and overall brand promotion efforts. This pivotal role will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the founder, requiring a high level of professionalism, polish, and extensive experience. We are looking for a well-respected and well-networked leader who can take our brand to new heights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and PR strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive growth.
  • Oversee and manage all marketing channels including traditional media, social media, and digital marketing.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, including a Social Media Manager and PR Manager.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, publishers, influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and founder to align marketing initiatives with the brand’s vision and goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and strategies for growth.
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a senior marketing and PR leader, preferably in the luxury designer fashion industry.
  • Strong network and relationships within the fashion industry and publishing.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing high-impact marketing and PR campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work closely with senior executives and founders, providing strategic insights and guidance.
  • High level of professionalism, polish, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovative marketing solutions.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for fashion and brand storytelling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Purpose

To acquire, cultivate and maintain relationships with our clients through deep product knowledge, personal engagement and luxury service.

Enhance the client experience

  • Greets and welcomes clients throughout all areas of the store
  • Connects with clients in a friendly and meaningful way

Boost sales through omni channel and out of home base selling

  • Educates self and client on merchandise, events, promotions, policy and services
  • Demonstrates expert styling and brand knowledge
  • Recommends merchandise based on expert product knowledge and client preferences, regardless of department or channel
  • Graciously takes returns and offers options based on client’s needs
  • Takes an omnitude approach to identify and recommend merchandise across all channels
  • Utilizes selling tools and store technology to sell across all channels effectively

  • Achieves personal sales and out of home base selling goals (KPI)

Cultivate and grow client base

  • Cultivates the client relationship through personalized connection
  • Acquires and builds client base primarily through forming relationships with new clients and retaining/building spend of existing clients
  • Ability to strategize own business and be self‐motivated; takes initiative to increase individual productivity through out of home base selling and strong client relationships
  • Utilizes digital tools and social media to connect with clients, serve their needs, and follow up as necessary
  • Proactively utilizes mobile devices and selling technology to communicate with clients and expand the business

Champion operational excellence

  • Assists in operational tasks (actively maintains selling floor, fills in stock, cleans fitting rooms, returns merchandise to other departments)
  • Ensures audit compliance

Contribute to team success

  • Partners with others to provide the best client experience
  • Actively creates a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration
  • Maintains positive working relationships throughout the company
