Job Description

Summary

As a Store Manager at Celine Beverly Hills, you will oversee the overall management of the concession, staff, merchandise, and customer service. You will be responsible for achieving sales objectives, maintaining high operational and merchandising standards, building highly motivated teams, and developing associates to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clear and effective store organization by support functions and product categories.
  • Communicate organizational changes within the store.
  • Motivate the team by establishing a real team spirit and teamwork environment.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of staff on a one-to-one basis.
  • Evaluate individual staff performance through the PCR process.
  • Identify and develop growth potential of individual staff members.
  • Assist sales associates with various customer service issues.
  • Coach and develop the team to maintain the highest degree of customer service.
  • Use Retail Pro and its inventory management functions.
  • Work with Buyer for OTB and ordering responsibilities.
  • Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports.
  • Maintain positive relationships with corporate office, regional office, and other stores.
  • Manage full profit and loss responsibility for the store, focusing on controllable expenses and sales plan.
  • Maintain accurate SKU levels, dollar levels, and model stocks using current P.O.S. system.
  • Ensure staff is proficient in P.O.S systems.
  • Meet cycle/physical inventory requirements.
  • Adhere to grooming and styling standards, lead by example, and enforce standards within the team.
  • Monitor the general appearance of the store, including cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of sales area and back-of-house.
  • Ensure key documents are kept in store.
  • Build staff work schedules and ensure appropriate store coverage.
  • Manage planning of paid holidays, absences, and report accordingly.
  • Empower sales staff and ensure principles of Céline customer service are followed.
  • Drive sales to meet or exceed sales budgets.
  • Aid sales associates in fortifying client relationships through clienteling.
  • Monitor daily sales performance of sales associates and the store as a whole.
  • Set individual monthly objectives for each team member.
  • Understand and explain store performance by category.
  • Keep all product support tools well organized and ensure team members have access to information.
  • Maintain merchandising standards in partnership with the Visual Merchandiser.
  • Supervise store personnel and enforce company policies.
  • Ensure timely submission of timesheets using Kronos, verification of employee hours, etc.
  • Identify and manage all store recruitment needs, including recruiting, assessing, and interviewing talent.
  • Partner with Regional and HR when needed.
  • Provide new staff members with a systematic induction and organize follow-up with knowledge reviews.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills when dealing with staff, peers, supervisors, and the NY and Paris office.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in retail management.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems like Retail Pro.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to manage profit and loss responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in staff development and retention.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
