We are seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive to manage and grow our existing brand partnerships within major retail and to actively pursue new business opportunities by establishing relationships with potential buyers. The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for managing the sales process from strategy to execution, ensuring that sales goals for each brand are met or exceeded. This role involves deep collaboration with contracted brands in our showroom to effectively position their products in alignment with retailer needs and consumer trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Brand Placement: Efficiently identify which brands would be optimal for specific retailers based on thorough market analysis and retailer profiling.
- Effective Communication: Write persuasive and clear pitches to present our brands to top-tier buyers, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and market focus.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with buyers, ensuring a reliable and trustworthy communication channel for future collaborations.
- Market Insights: Provide actionable feedback to brands based on retailer responses and market demand, guiding them towards products that fulfill market needs.
- Logistics Expertise: Manage and understand all aspects of shipping logistics to ensure timely deliveries and create win-win situations for both brands and retailers.
- Project Initiative: Proactively initiate and manage special projects to maximize business opportunities with each retailer, enhancing both brand visibility and retailer satisfaction.
- Organizational Skills: Maintain meticulous records and manage multiple project timelines effectively, ensuring attention to detail in all aspects of the sales process.
- Sales and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong sales capabilities paired with a personable approach to foster trust and loyalty among clients and partners.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive in the fashion industry, with a strong track record in meeting sales targets and managing brand relationships is preferred
- Demonstrated ability in identifying new business opportunities and establishing new client relationships in the retail sector is preferred
- Deep understanding of the retail landscape and consumer buying behaviors, especially in the contemporary women’s fashion sector.
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills, with the ability to close deals effectively and maintain profitable relationships.
