Job Description

Summary

Lead the technological transformation in luxury retail as the Director of Retail & Omni-Channel Technology. You will be accountable for the seamless integration of technology into the customer and associate experience across a network of 90 stores in North America. Spearhead a team responsible for retail & omni-channel technology transformation, store technology services, omni-channel architecture, and retail expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary technology partner to retail executives, understanding business needs and making technology decisions.
  • Act as a thought partner to remove friction for store associates.
  • Advocate for regional needs with HQ teams in Europe.
  • Establish strategic relationships with key vendors.
  • Define and drive regional store technology and services roadmaps.
  • Develop and implement regional long-term strategy for technology services.
  • Lead discovery and execution of retail & omni-channel projects.
  • Ensure quality and stability of technology deliverables.
  • Improve performance and lead day-to-day Level 2 retail applications support.
  • Redefine the operating model of retail support.
  • Lead feasibility and scope assessment for omni-channel solutions.
  • Support retail expansion into new markets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in luxury or contemporary sector.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, leading IT teams and vendors.
  • Hands-on technical experience with point-of-sales solutions.
  • Stellar presentation and communications skills.
  • Strong program and project management skills.
  • Language skills in French, Spanish, or Italian are a plus.
  • International retail experience preferred.
