Job Description

Summary

As a Sales Associate in the Home department at our Chevy Chase location, you will provide exceptional customer service and drive sales in a dynamic retail environment. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their home product needs and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting home products that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
  • Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and properly stocked.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in retail sales or customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
