Job Description

Position:

The Merchandising Manager is responsible for management of their dedicated category to maximize sales and margin opportunities for Fendi Americas. The Merchandising Manager inspires a customer-focused, innovative and team-oriented approach, sharing key learnings and driving initiatives across the business for the Us, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.

Responsibilities

Retail Merchandising

  • Generate fiscal, seasonal, and permanent selling reports and business analysis for the category.
  • Strategize with Director of Merchandising to maximize opportunities and minimize liabilities to achieve continued growth and profitability.
  • Ability to identify key trends and communicate to the stores and relevant departments.
  • Responsible for managing merchandise consolidation and transfers, for full price and outlet stores.
  • Weekly partnership with supply chain on replenishment, inventory management and establishment of target stock levels to ensure inventory is maximized and to identify any opportunities or challenges.
  • Partner with store management for an understanding of current and potential clients.
  • Provide general support to all store needs through regular communication.
  • Provide store trainings by traveling to each market.
  • Create the seasonal buying books and training tools.
  • Responsible for execution and maintenance of merchandising guidelines and communicating product knowledge information to the stores.
  • Assist with store openings, store renovations and store manager’s meetings.
  • Travel 4 times a year to the Italy showroom for the seasonal buy.
  • Work closely with Worldwide Merchandising and Product teams on product development needs, strategic business development and feedback on the American market.
  • Partner with communications to ensure editorial and marketing strategies are in line with the key investments and overall category strategy.
  • Attend weekly store walk-throughs and work with Visual Merchandising team to ensure store presentations accurately represent the appropriate merchandising strategy and enhance seasonal key items and opportunities that increase seasonal St.
  • Partner with Crm to develop clientele strategy and action plan to maximize sales.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and Ppt skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury market needs.
