Job Description

Inventory Planning

  • Assist in inventory management, adhering to worldwide inventory and availability targets
  • Integrate Demand Planning and Regional sales forecasts to identify inventory needs
  • Support new launches/strategic initiatives by collaborating with cross functional planning teams on launch execution and receipt timing
  • Provide visibility to regions on shipment timing on priority styles and/or new product launches

Reporting

  • Proficiently utilize the Business Objects Reporting tool to create reports based on the needs of the business, including sales and inventory analysis, model optimization and project execution
  • Tailor reporting to target audience including summarizing analysis, key take-aways and actions
  • Introduce new reporting to gain replenishment efficiencies

Communication

  • Review, analyze and discuss Worldwide inventory availability levels, constraints, and opportunities
  • React to concerns and provide follow-up action points in a timely manner
  • Foster internal Planning team environment: communicate unique departmental/regional inventory issues or concerns with team and collaborate on analyses and procedural efficiencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts in Category Management, Demand Planning, Global Assortment Planning, Supply Management, Distribution and the Regional Supply Chain on product strategies, recovery, and resolution planning

Leadership

  • Train new RP team members in system applications and reporting tools; Provide leadership support and mentorship during on-boarding process
  • Prepare and present analyses, merchandise trend report analysis, new store updates, and regional event/marketing updates
  • Taking the initiative on providing regional updates & sharing regional business highlights

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2 years business experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and diplomacy skills
  • College degree, business major preferred, or comparable experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows environment

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of MIPS, As400 systems and RSC Operations
  • Excel/Power Bi experience
