Job Description

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks an E-Commerce, Product Manager to join the E-Commerce team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. Marc Jacobs International is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) fashion division and operates in the wholesale and direct to consumer retail markets.

This role will support the management of the North American Ecommerce website in coordination with the US and Japan teams, while ensuring a high-end customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with E-commerce Director to develop operational strategy, refine the platform roadmap and execute on all initiatives
  • Maintain our dotcom platform as a Digital Flagship to effectively tell our brand story
  • Support site updates and maintenance (basic Html coding) and execute new product launches, both for the Us and Japan websites
  • Work closely with cross discipline internal teams (locally and abroad), gathering requirements to inform future evolutions of the e-commerce platform
  • Oversee offshore technical teams and manage the features developments and site upgrades, from ticket creation to go live
  • Document new features and train internal teams on how to leverage them
  • Analyze data and feedback on promotional and operational programs performance, recommend adjustments/enhancements to future strategies
  • Analyze and report on performance of key partners and vendors, identify improvement opportunities
  • Relentlessly seek how to enhance the customer experience, be it through UX changes or new tools
  • Keep abreast of digital trends and innovation to recommend new digital initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in the E-Commerce &/or digital space, fashion experience a plus
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) experience
  • Project management experience (at an agency for instance) a plus
  • Familiarity with Jira and working with developers
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Html and CSS knowledge
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial personality with a results-oriented management style who’s hungry to make a difference
  • Hands on approach, used to working with limited resources both human and capital
  • Humble, passionate, driven and a team player
  • A penchant for technology and the digital space
  • In compliance with the Order of New York City’s Commissioner of Health and Mental Hygiene to Require Covid-19 Vaccination in the Workplace, candidates will need to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination by their first day of employment.
