Job Description

Main Job Objective

The Project Manager, Global Visual Merchandising & Store Design (VMSD ) will support campaign directives, launches, new store initiatives and will liaise regular communication with markets and channels. The Project Manager’s responsibilities include managing the development, production and implementation process of Fresh’s Visual Merchandising and Store Design projects and designs globally.

Profile

Responsibilities

  • Develop a workflow for all VMSD design development (Capex, feasibility, prototyping, vendor selection, etc)
  • Partner with and communicate out to all regions and markets on the rollout of Global VMSD initiatives
  • Establish feedback loops between Global VMSD , markets and channels to communicate successes and opportunities

Purchasing + Development:

  • Serve as a key point of contact with all global accounts, including fabricators, material suppliers, artisans, POSM vendors as needed in partnership with Global Purchasing
  • Develop a calendar and deliverables for each vendor and ensure adherence to those deliverables and schedule.
  • Assist in the feasibility, prototyping and value engineering process related to the industrialization of new fixtures
  • Design the process to coordinate chosen manufacturers in partnership with Purchasing
  • Identify deliverables at each milestone of the Global Development Process
  • Drive the feasibility, prototyping and value engineering process related to the industrialization of new launches, merchandising units, graphics, glorifiers, window kits, and evergreen toolkits, taking into account the local market requirements and conditions

Cross Functional and Market Partnerships:

  • Partner on the BI-annual Merchandising Directives, including planning and organization
  • Liaise on seasonal and core visual merchandising guidelines to the markets and cross functional teams
  • Maintain the catalog of company standards (i.e. global planogram guidelines and software updates, graphic standards, and in-store styling/display guidelines)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams for channel and market specific graphics and copy
  • Partner with Campaign Operations for in-store asset deliverable timelines
  • Liaise with Global Retail to ensure fresh standards across market proposed graphics and copy
  • Attend cross-functional team meetings for active projects as GVM point person, speaking to VM campaign status
  • Create annual global planogram and programming instruction for market implementation in IWD
  • Manage and conduct cross-functional meetings with Director of VM during campaign development
  • Work with channels and markets on merchandising initiatives to reflect brand guidelines
  • Partner with Director of Global VM to support the rollout of guidelines to new markets

VM and Store Design Projects:

  • Assist VMSD Team on special projects, managing timeline and deliverables in partnership with Sr Mgr VM Design
  • Manage workflow for VN and Sd individual designers, ensuring milestones and deliverables are clearly communicated
  • Conduct regular status meetings for VMSD Projects, maintaining timelines for internal and external deliverables
  • Oversee VM campaign order process
  • Place purchase orders for invoices
  • Ensure scope for each project is captured during project initiation and communicated to cross-functional teams

What you will learn (and/or achieve) in the first 6 months:

  • Full working understanding of the Global Store Design
  • Understanding of Global VMSD vendor roster and network

What you will achieve in 12 months:

  • Develop clear and efficient work flows for Global VMSD Team
  • Manage Global VMSD production calendars
  • Establish concise network of go-to Global VMSD vendor partners

Additional Information

Expertise:

  • Minimum five years in Project Management and/or Visual Merchandising or equivalent in a related field
  • Strong team spirit with outstanding organization and presentation skills
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in an entrepreneurial work environment
  • Detail oriented and able to spearhead administrative aspects of Vm
  • Flexible work hours to accommodate communication with global teams
  • Willingness to travel

Software:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Iwd
  • 3D design programs a plus
