The Sales Manager is responsible for the overall management and enhancement of the selling floor, with the main objectives of developing sales, growing the sales team and reaching a sustainable high quality of service. As a Sales Manager, one must be a true leader in the boutique, sharing the Van Cleef & Arpels values with the teams and acting as a true Ambassador of the Maison.
The Sales Manager assists the Boutique Director in supporting and guiding the team in all aspects of sales, while maintaining a sales floor presence. A Sales Manager helps the team achieve performance goals through feedback, coaching and closing sales and supports the team in developing clients and prospects in the database and in developing a sales strategy to increase loyalty and sales volume in the long-term. A Sales Manager must motivate the team by leading by example on the selling floor and helps the Boutique Director in building short and mid-term strategies to attract, convert and retain new clients. A Sales Manager is asked to provide and ensure excellent customer service and help the team nurture and elevate the boutique experience to support sales growth.
Qualifications for this role include: a Bachelor’s Degree and/or four to five years of working in management in a fast-paced luxury environment is preferred. An Sales Manager must have the ability to elevate client experiences, nurture client relationships and ability to provide solutions to client’s needs. The role requires prior management experience, the ability to motivate a team and quickly solve sales related issues and provide solutions to clients’ needs. Strong selling/closing skills, computer skills, ability travel and strong communication networking and interpersonal skills are a must. At this time, we are not sponsoring work visas.
