Job Description

Job purpose:

Responsible for developing and implementing Pr strategies and contributing to larger projects. The Pr Coordinator will work closely with the team to ensure strong editorial content across print platforms, building positive relationships with print editors throughout the Fashion Industry.

Profile and Responsibilities

  • Manage all Womenswear, Maison, and Baby Dior sample requests for the Us & Canada, and update Sample Tracker daily.
  • Work directly with market editors, fashion assistants, stylists and project freelancers on product requests with the goal of improving each editorial opportunity.
  • Partner with the Paris team to secure samples from the global collection and to ensure timely sample returns to Paris.
  • Lead any sample shares and/or expedited deliveries with the international Pr offices.
  • Streamline all samples in the stockroom to ensure efficient and accurate sample trafficking, decrease product loss, and sustain the overall organization of the sample Supervise the Pr Trainee in entering all samples into the product tracking system (Fashion Gps).
  • Leads sample send-out logistics – shipping & receiving of product for editorials, using Worldnet, Ups, and local messenger, including creating invoices, etc.
  • Partner with the merchandising teams on regional press opportunities to ensure all product featured is available in store. Partner with the merchandising teams on sample loaning and sharing across their respective product inventories.
  • Assemble weekly and monthly press reports for the Paris team following brand initiatives, seasonal runway shows, campaign announcements, domestic press events and product launches.
  • Pull Dmr data each month and cross-reference against our coverage records to ensure accuracy. Assemble Dmr reports for top management review.
  • Ensure all magazines and newspapers are properly tabbed and filed so that they can be accessed at any given time by the wider team.
  • Proactively pitch efforts surrounding brand initiatives and launches and product pushes.
  • Partner with the Pr Manager to prepare and implement the women’s runway shows.
  • Develop and foster relationships with national and regional fashion assistants, market editors and stylists.
  • Manage invoice submissions and vendor creation for editorial partners.
  • Maintain credit chart on all upcoming confirmed press placements.
  • Update and maintain press contact database.
  • Oversee Pr Trainee projects and activities each season.

Additional Informationrequirements:

  • 2-3 years prior experience in fashion Pr or consumer goods
  • Ba in Communications or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (ie; Excel, Access. Word)
  • Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential, controversial, and sensitive nature
  • Ability to establish work priorities and remain flexible
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization and the public
