Job Description:
The Merchandising function is responsible for developing and implementing plans based on strategic objectives to maximize the sale of goods and services. May operate in-store or through e-Commerce channels. Monitors performance and partners with brand management and creative to update plans. The Merchandise Planning area is responsible for developing and implementing placement plans for one or more product lines to maximize sales, and profitability. Monitors line performance and updates plans based upon analysis of markdowns, promotions and seasonal changes. Contributes to sales, margin, expense order, and turnover projection reports
