Job Description

The Wholesale Account Executive supports the Director of Wholesale and the Commercial Team across all accounts both nationally and internationally. They will be responsible for and partner with department stores, online players, and multi-brand stores, providing a smooth and consistent service in line with the Silvia Tcherassi wholesale strategy and ensuring that a consistent brand image is communicated through selling locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Wholesale Director in all aspects of account management of Silvia Tcherassi wholesale partners.
  • Together with the Wholesale Director, implements business strategies by designated account and develops financial plans by account and product assortment.
  • Serves as point of contact for client’s queries such as Ra requests, reorders, repairs, store locations, product search, etc.
  • Develops seasonal projections to forecast sales, markdowns, margins, and turnover.
  • Analyzes clients’ performance and recommends strategies to drive business performance.
  • Collaborates with clients’ accounts to define and execute strategies and identify opportunities.
  • Communicates with wholesale accounts on initial budgets prior to market.
  • Manages existing business including driving performance, re-orders, managing risk and liability, tracking shipping, and selling etc.
  • Strategizes and executes new business opportunities alongside the Director of Wholesale.
  • Presents and sells seasonal collections to buyers from wholesale partners, four times a year, and supports order entry if necessary.
  • Reviews and evaluates wholesale clients’ orders to ensure a proper mix of products is ordered and budgets are aligned.
  • Manages, tracks, and ensures shipment of all orders.
  • Communicates shipping information to clients, including the projected shipping flow, Po creation and Po extensions, if necessary.
  • Supports the Director of Wholesale in the invoicing and account receivable process and maintains accurate and timely logs.
  • Forecasts and summarizes events and clients’ activities for the brand.
  • Prepares all informational packets and analysis for partnerships meetings and presentations.
  • Partners with the Sales Events Manager to develop & implement retail specific visual merchandising guidelines, as well as supports the implementation of wholesale events.
  • Partners with Sales Events Manager to ensure sales associates have been trained in product and visual merchandising guidelines to strengthen business performance and retain brand positioning.
  • Consistently analyzes and reports orders and selling progress to the relevant stakeholders to empower both clients’ and brand’s decisions and strategies.
  • Builds and updates Wtd, Mtd, & Ytd sales reports, from both a qualitative and quantitative point of view.
  • Conducts regular competitive analysis to maintain awareness of the marketplace and to support strategy.
  • Travels to clients’ locations to assist with product knowledge seminars and trunk shows, and any special events, when necessary to assist the Sales Events Manager.
  • Supports any other activities as required by the Director of Wholesale and acts as a team player to support and meet all department-wide objectives.

Qualifications And Skills:

  • Degree qualification desirable.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a wholesale environment essential.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills.
  • Multi-tasking and prioritizing capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential.
  • Proficiency in Aims order entering system a plus.
  • Strong sales and account management experience, as well as knowledge and experience of various markets both across the Us, and internationally.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and solution based.
  • Strong ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
  • Agility and ability to react quickly with strong sense of urgency.
  • Aptitude to develop strong relationships built on respect and trust.
  • Robust analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Spanish language required.
  • Domestic and international travel required.
