Job Description

Position Summary

The Assistant Manager, PR and Consumer Engagement, reports into both the Na Consumer Engagement and Na Communications functions to support 360 planning around key programs and campaigns. This role will focus on the integration of earned, owned, and paid media efforts to help drive buzz around La Mer and Darphin. They will support and execute influencer campaigns, press outreach, events (both online and offline), content creation, and paid media programming, in service of the larger strategic objective to align these tactics for maximum impact.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with press outreach, managing press requests, and tracking press coverage to maximize brand awareness
  • Assist with research, outreach, contract management, brief-building, and content approvals for paid influencer programs
  • Lead project management and execution of brandsite livestreams, retailer virtual events, and retailer influencer content, under supervision of PR Director. Drive event scheduling and lead cross-functional teams to identify and schedule talent (PR), develop briefs and build creative assets (Creative), and deliver scripts and rehearsals (Education).
  • Creative asset management for paid media and PR – downloading and organizing global creative releases, building asset launch and creative rotation schedule by platform, coordinating asset edits as needed, and sharing with media agency and editors as needed
  • Assist with project management for 360 marketing programs for 5* launches, to drive collaboration among PR, Consumer Engagement, Education and Trade Marketing
  • Lead and organize product mailings to editors and industry influencers, and continually research/add influencers to brand lists in order to grow awareness and audience exposure.
  • Collaborate and partner with Canadian team and Global team on launches, events, paid media strategies, and needs for the brands.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:
  • marketing partners, scheduling regular meetings and sharing findings with team to identify strong marketing opportunities
  • makeup artists, estheticians, dermatologists and other experts to secure social media and editorial mentions
  • editors and industry influencers, to keep brands top of mind and drive earned coverage

  • Maintain and regularly update contact lists for editors, makeup artists, influencers, and VIPs.
  • Manage tracking and reporting across editorial/earned media, influencers, and paid media in an organized and timely fashion, including a monthly recap to North America team sharing updates on paid media and earned media
  • Manage statuses and recaps within CE/PR team and larger marketing team
  • Manage new launch forecasting, product orders, gifting, and product shipping. Manage forecasting of paid media samples, event samples, and press previews for earned and paid programs.
  • Manage Na budgets for PR, Influencer, and Paid Media, including tracking expenses, managing POS, processing invoices, and overseeing monthly reconciliations.
  • Lead social content briefs for brand ambassadors under supervision of PR Director
