Job Description

Mission

  • Define the overall Public Relation and Events strategy for Bergdorf Goodman, from ideation to execution in collaboration with Hq, Sales, and Retail teams, inclusive of new store openings, third-party, partnerships, collection launches and trunk shows, and other activations
  • Work with internal departments and external vendors/parties to ensure that events are followed and executed seamlessly according to the brand standards (concept, production, catering, flowers, gifting, entertainment etc.)
  • Partner with the Trade Marketing Manager to make sure brand activations are in adherence with brand guidelines
  • Partner with the Pr Manager to ensure that all events are captured as media resources and media is prioritized at all events (e. supply material for event press releases, briefings, press images, etc.)
  • Produce detailed event decks for all key stakeholders
  • Lead the execution and organization of all the logistics of onsite and offsite events, ensuring that all components are aligned with the Hublot brand image and identity
  • Ensure that the security protocol for the transportation and showcasing of timepieces is in place (guards, trunks, show insurance, etc.)
  • Provide timely event recaps containing both pre-event summaries, and post-event wrap up reports and feedback, partnering with internal departments to determine both client satisfaction and event

Roi

  • Manage all budgets and invoicing associated with events, reforecasting North American events budget as required
  • Build strong relationships with local vendors and maintain a list of key contacts for events organization and appoint and manage event/creative agencies (when required for large scale events).
  • Manage and maintain an inventory (with warehousing partners) of marketing fixtures including step and repeats, branded furniture and other owned materials
  • Travel and be present at all events to provide on-site support, pre, post and during events
  • Maintain and update the master event calendar regularly

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or any related field, with a focus in Events
  • 3-5 years of experience in an events role
  • Previous experience in the Luxury retail sector preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills, with both external and internal vendors
  • Strong time-management and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-growing business and environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Kpis and marketing techniques for event management
  • Ability to problem-solve and think creatively
  • Excellent verbal/written presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
  • Open ability to work evenings and weekends when required for event execution and attendance
  • Domestic travel required (up to 30% of travel time)
