Job Description

The Social Media & Partnerships Manager will manage day-to-day social media and community building with the key purpose of sharing brand story and drive brand awareness, engagement, referral and advocacy. The role lives within the Marketing team, reporting to the SVP of Marketing and Ecommerce, and supports overall key business priorities, industry moments, partnerships and initiatives, and showroom activities. The role will manage posting to social channels (Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest) creating social first content and pull, interpret, and react to analytics and engagement data.

Responsibilities

Social platforms

  • Own and manage all social channels for the brands and adjust brand storytelling to social first content.
  • Identify new social channels to extend social reach and growth based on brands’ audience.
  • Lead social storytelling and adjust based on current trend to increase reach and engagement.
  • Partner with creative to create unique content to increase social present including videos, life style etc.
  • Maintain overall social media and content calendar for the brand and execute against it.
  • Manage engagement with social audience, including comment and direct message moderation/responses.
  • Measure engagement KPIs and monitor performance of social content on an ongoing basis.
  • Stay up-to-date on new social media tools, techniques, and best practices; monitor competitors and other social media leaders to see how we can adapt for channels.

Partnership & Influencers management

  • Manage editorial and brand partnerships
  • Form relationship and develop constant engagement with key ambassadors and influencers based on brand needs.
  • Partner with marketing team to develop loyalty and community strategy.
  • Define KPIs to best measure and optimize relationship with social community.
  • Manager PR request and PR agencies/ partners as needed.
  • Formulate growth partnership strategy to develop meaningful relationship with brands and personas.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in social media and/or digital content.
  • Existing relationship with key figures and influencers in the fashion/ lifestyle industry.
  • Ability to analyze data, and translate those findings into actionable next steps.
  • Ability to execute social/digital campaigns.
  • Interest in social media and social innovation (new platforms, techniques, etc.) as well as being highly engaged in social media personally.
  • Interest in women’s fashion and the luxury space, and the surrounding cultural spaces.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, and able to multitask, while maintaining clear and proactive flow of communication and ownership of tasks.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal teams as well as external vendors and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
