Specialist, Financial Performance:

The Fragrance & Beauty Performance Management and Analysis Team is a divisional team with a mission to support the efficiency and effectiveness of achieving our Divisional Objectives. We support this mission with a strong focus on Process Performance, Financial Performance and connection and consolidating the work across the division. The team is comprised of two arms, Financial Performance and Process Performance.

The Financial Performance Team supports consolidated business performance reporting, investment strategy consolidation and analysis, and is the home of the Divisional Power Bi Center of Excellence for Fragrance & Beauty. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Business Intelligence and Retail Performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support team in holistic business analysis, reporting on the performance of our priorities by channel, by category, by account, by market including Retailer Deep Dives, Staffing Investment Performance, Service and Experience, New Door interaction with Existing Retail, Market Development Strategies
  • Analyze the effectiveness of our brick and mortar and market strategies by connecting and analyzing data including retail sales, investments, market share, client
  • Manage the financials of our point-of-sale staffing budget including planning, consolidation, and reconciliation of the budget
  • Work directly with our third-party staffing provider, acting as a corporate liaison for day-to-day account management and invoice approvals
  • Design and maintain reports for staffing investments and analyze their impact on the business at the account, market and door level
  • Act as a super-user of Power Bi, supporting data governance and accuracy as well as serving as the main point of contact to Corporate and Field teams for questions & trainings
  • Support the enhancement of existing Power Bi reporting to be more user- and presentation-friendly

Position Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in an analytic role (i.e. business or financial analysis), retail experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, index/match, nested logical statements, pivot tables, etc.) and Power Point skills (animation, slide master formatting, embedding charts/graphs, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Collaborative and flexible/adaptable to different environments and ways of working
  • Creative thinking skills to develop solutions to complex problems that don’t appear to have one clear answer
  • Efficient time manager and multitasker that can work through multiple issues concurrently
