Job Description

Summary

The AVP, Human Resources, Commercial will lead HR strategy and execution for Van Cleef & Arpels' retail boutique network across the Americas. This role advises retail leadership, leads a team of four HR professionals, and supports organizational growth, employee development, and a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and retail growth plans.
  • Advise retail leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and change management.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four HR professionals and oversee HR support for approximately 32 boutiques.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters and promote engagement, inclusion, and retention.
  • Partner on compensation and benefits strategies, HR reporting, compliance, and process improvement.
  • Support organizational development, leadership development, and the consistent expression of Maison culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree or HR certification is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3-5 years in a team leadership role.
  • Extensive experience supporting multi-unit retail, preferably in the luxury sector.
  • Proven ability to develop HR strategies that support business results and organizational growth.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations across the Americas region.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills, with integrity and discretion.
