Job Description

Summary

The AVP Talent at Cartier North America will develop a strategic roadmap for talent acquisition, management, and early career initiatives. This role requires collaboration with business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational objectives, ensuring the proactive fulfillment of talent needs. The AVP Talent will oversee the Talent function, driving strategic objectives and championing diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team, setting strategic goals and fostering an inclusive team culture.
  • Design and implement sourcing strategies to attract a diverse workforce.
  • Oversee centralized recruiting for all positions at Cartier North America.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers.
  • Optimize recruitment processes using technology and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Build strategies for talent planning, development, and succession planning.
  • Lead the Cartier Organizational Talent Review and manage talent mobility.
  • Develop early career programs and partnerships with universities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10-15 years of experience in talent management within a luxury retail environment.
  • Proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic and tactical skills in talent acquisition and management.
  • Ability to influence decision-making and collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Passion for developing a diverse workforce and improving processes.
  • Experience with talent technologies and a strong network in the luxury talent landscape.
